Easter Sunday is just around the corner and we can not be more excited! French people take the Chocolate for Easter very seriously, most of the Chef Pâtissier are launching their own ‘Easter Collection’ and it’s always fun to see! We will be sharing round-up of them this year like we do every year.
We are very snob when it comes to Chocolate, and we start very young to educate our pallets.
Because of our love for Easter, I have been scoping out fun decor ideas for weeks. I have compiled a list of some tips and tricks that you can try out to get the cutest French-themed decor! As always there will be more fun easter ideas on our Instagram @ouiplease. Also, take a photo of your Easter table and tag us for us to repost!

1 ADD HEIGHT.
It is so easy to avoid having a boring table! One of the easiest ways to add some drama and interest is to add some tall accents for your centerpiece. This is the time to break out those long stemmed flowers and the fun, big vases. Don’t be scared to get vertical!

2. MIX OLD WITH NEW.
Rustic vintage items will bring a little extra personality to your decor. A mix of antiques will give you that French flair! Look for things that you can see the wear and tear on the item.
3. FLOWERS, FLOWERS FLOWERS.
It’s spring, flowers are a must! During flower power season, more is more. I love adding as many flowers as possible to my door, centerpiece, napkin rings, everywhere.

4. BE BOLD WITH COLOR.
French decor is not only about gorgeous antiques, but also really fun, bold colors. This can be adorable patterns that have splashes of colors or bright solid colors. It does not have to be pretty pastels and white – try dark blue and pops of yellow!

5. ADD A SURPRISING ACCENT.
One of the best parts of easter decor is that its just so fun! The nature of the holiday allows you to be super out-of-the-box creative. This could be anything from a cute lapine (bunny), small wheelbarrow, or something else! You could even try adding fancier items (maybe a crystal bowl or some beautiful champagne glasses).
