Step into the Paris of yesteryear with Maison Boissier. Founded in 1827, Maison Boissier is one of the oldest confection shops in Paris and is the stuff of legend.
If you’re in the 16th arrondisement of Paris, shopping the likes of Céline and Isabel Marant, be sure to visit Maison Boissier on Avenue Victor Hugo. At this location, you can shop their selection of time-honored bonbons and enjoy a slow afternoon in their elegant Salon de Thé.
The style of their salon is old world yet modern. Decorated in a palette of soft blues, grays and purples, the Maison Boissier Tea Room encapsulates classic French taste through both the decor and the menu. The space is intimate and special with mouldings on the walls, delicate upholstered chairs around the tables, and waiters looking to give you a traditional French pâtisserie experience.
While it’s easy to get carried away with their robust menu of tea melanges and sweet treats, we certainly have our favorites. The Marie Antoinette pastry is as beautiful as it sounds. Crafted from a raspberry macaron, raspberry filling, and topped with fresh rose-flavored cream, it’s a delicious work of art! As for tea, we suggest the signature Mélange Boissier. This light, refreshing blend is infused with citrus, vanilla, and floral notes of jasmine and lavender.
Maison Boissier’s Salon de Thé takes the cake when it comes to honoring tradition, pursuing excellence and refining flavor. When will you be visiting?
