April 29^th is National Denim Day. Of the many silly national days that we celebrate, from National Buffet Day to National Thesaurus Day, this is one of the more significant. Not only should we participate in National Denim Day to sport a put together and chic look, but more importantly because this is a day dedicated to bringing awareness to sexual assault and violence. Wearing denim this Wednesday is a symbol of your commitment to bringing an end to this physical and emotional violation, and a way to protest against relaxed attitudes towards sexual assault. Show your support and take a stand against sexual assault by pulling out your favorite denim items and wearing them proudly.  The French are known for their strong women and sophisticated flair, especially when it comes to styling denim, so take a page out of their book and read on to see our top five ways of how to style denim the French way.

Be Flirty

Flirt fearlessly by throwing on a pair of white denim jeans and pairing it with your prettiest blouse. This combination creates the perfect fit for imagining yourself leisurely stopping for an outside Parisian picnic, a glass of wine not far away. White denim makes a confident statement on its own but slipping into a dainty top will create a summer-time cool and delicate look.
