OuiPlease is expanding its OuiCare Program to California thanks to Laura’s House
Since September 2019, OuiPlease customers have had the opportunity to turn their OuiPlease box into a Box of Hope for a woman in need. Instead of disposing of their box, customers can fill their box with supplies requested by our charity partners and ship it directly to the organization using a prepaid shipping label. It is a great way for us to provide the tools that are needed for these amazing women to succeed.
Since partnering with Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support 2 years ago, OuiCare has delivered over 200 boxes of hope to the women’s shelter located in Dallas, Texas. We are SO excited to finally announce our new partnership! We have been thinking about expanding our OuiCare program for a few months now, but after finding this organization we knew it had to be! Being a female-founded and female-run company, we wanted a way to be able to help the community which is why they are such a perfect fit. We are passionate about supporting and empowering women everywhere and strongly believe in the work they are doing in the community. We are so proud to announce our new addition to the OuiCare family – Laura’s House!!
More About Laura’s House
In addition to continuing to work with Genesis Women’s shelter in Dallas, we will also now be partnering with Laura’s House in Orange County, California through our OuiCare program. As California is one of OP’s largest markets, we think that we’ll be able to make a lasting impact on the shelter. We also think current/future customers will love being able to get involved with a shelter closer to their community.
Based in Orange County, California, Laura’s House provides safe refuge and supportive services to individuals and families experiencing intimate partner abuse. The organization provides a wide range of services, including emergency shelter, community education programs, and legal advocacy, that further their mission of changing the social beliefs, attitudes and behaviors that perpetuate domestic violence. Since 1994, Laura’s House has empowered more than 50,000 adults and children to take the initial steps to rebuild their lives, and OuiCare is excited to assist Laura’s House in helping more individuals and families in the local and national community.
