Everyone has their favorite influencers and bloggers these days. But what makes a good blogger? At OuiPlease, we love nothing more than a chic French girl with elevated yet simplistic style.
Another thing we love is an independent woman. Each of the three bloggers listed here has her own company. #GirlBoss am I right? Any woman who can take initiative and start something on her own is an inspiration to me!
Take a quick look at the Instagrammers below! Each one has her own unique style and story, but the same French it-girl flair.
SABINA SOCOL – @sabinasocol
With her charming smile and her Brigitte Bardot style bangs, Sabina Socol has taken over Instagram. Fun fact: she was originally born in Romania, moving to France as a young girl. But Sabina is a French icon nonetheless!
Sabina started off as the social media editor for L’Officiel magazine, which is how she initially gained a following. From there, she has grown exponentially! She is one of Instagram’s favorite girls du jour, and she has a following close to 1 million. Sabina even has her own clothing line, Pujka, which came out this month.
Sabina’s signature look is a pair of well-fitting, high-rise jeans styled with a delicate vintage blouse and a square-toed heel. I love her simplicity because I can look to her for realistic French fashion advice. It’s actually this simple but quintessentially Parisian style that’s helped her book gigs with major brands like Mango, H&M, and Louis Vuitton.
She actually just got married on the 11th of June, at 11 o’clock, in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. How clever is that?! Here are some photos from her intimate civil wedding, wearing a dress from Miaou with a Miu Miu bag slung over her shoulder. So chic!
ANNE-LAURE MAIS – @annelauremais
Anne-Laure is another amazing French influencer. Over the past few months, she has shared the progression of her pregnancy – and it’s been so beautiful to keep up with! Anne-Laure is now a new mom to a little girl whom she named Adèle.
Anne-Laure’s internet persona is called Adenorah, which is also her Instagram handle. I love Anne-Laure because when I look through her Instagram, she just seems like any regular woman, even though her following consists of more than half a million people!
Her photos are natural, and she includes her followers in the day-to-day. I personally loved watching her life during her pregnancy. She would post photos as her belly grew, sharing her anticipation for the delivery day with me and the rest of her followers. It was so cute!
She collaborates and creates capsule collections with several brands, such as Jonak, but now she has taken a bigger leap than just partnerships. Her adventure continues with the three-year anniversary of her own brand, Musier Paris.
Her brand is very chic and unique, filled with lace, open backs, and dainty pieces. I like to look through her collections because I feel like they really represent who Anne-Laure is and the image she represents on social media. Musier is definitely a brand worth checking out!
MUSIER PRODUCTS
MATHILDE THOMAS – @mathildethomas
And last but not least, we have Mathilde Thomas! Both a mother and founder of her own skincare brand, Mathilde can do it all, all while being an Instagram blogger.
Mathilde’s company is called Caudalie, and just wait until you hear what their secret anti-aging ingredient is! The inspiration came from spending time in her family’s vineyards, Château Smith Haut Lafitte in Bordeaux.
Mathilde found out that grape seed polyphenols are the most powerful antioxidant of all plants, meaning they are amazing for your skin!
So Mathilde started extracting and stabilizing the grape seed polyphenols, creating Caudalie products with it. Over the past few years, her line has become a coveted skincare brand on both sides of the Atlantic. Products now range from the signature Beauty Elixir to the Moisturizing Sorbet Cream, Grape Water mist spray, and Crushed Cabernet Scrub.
