Review: Saisons D’Eden La Crème de Beauté

Vol.2.3 Summer Escapade is full of a host of wonderful French beauty products. One of our favorites beauty brands is Saisons D’Eden. Saisons D’Eden believes that as the seasons change, so do the needs of your skin. Founder Johanna Fayolle recognized that as summer turned into fall, and winter turned to spring, her skin demanded a different kind of topical treatment in order to remain in balance. To give you a sense of their products, we had a OuiPlease team member try out Saisons D’Eden’s La Crème de Beauté for Spring and Summer and report back. La Crème de Beauté is a revitalizing cream with a light aroma of raspberry and grapefruit and is filled with active antioxidants and essential fatty acids. Sesame Seed Oil, Kigelia Extract, and other moisturizing ingredients, act as a shield against free radicals to protect your skin from premature aging. Here’s what Twyla had to say about her experience with La Crème de Beauté for Spring and Summer.

“In the beginning, I was a little hesitant about trying La Crème de Beauté. My skin is highly reactive, combination skin, so even the slightest change in routine can upset the balance. In general, I like skincare products that are as natural as possible, gentle, and lightweight. To begin, I tried applying the Saisons D’Eden cream just at night. I washed my face like normal, and then applied just a dime size amount of the cream to my face. The first thing I noticed about the cream is its lovely, peachy scent – it’s fresh and fruity without being too overwhelmingly fragranced. When the cream goes on, it feels a creamy and thick, but I was amazed at how quickly it absorbed on my skin. Once the cream was evenly absorbed, it felt very lightweight. When I woke up the next morning, my skin was noticeably moisturized and the tone was even – and that was just after one use! La Crème de Beauté is now my go-to facial moisturizer for spring and summer.”
