Though we find this tote in red, traditionally, Toiles de Jouy prints are monochrome and come in blues, reds or greys. Each canvas is defined by a story – The stories and veritable works of art are then taken up and engraved on copper rolls: An ancestral know-how still relevant to certain French Maisons. This canvas was originally created in 1760 in Jouy-en-Josas.
