PAPIER D’ARMENIE FRAGRANCE STRIPS

PAPIER D’ARMENIE ROSE SCENTED FRAGRANCE STRIPS

Older than the Eiffel Tower, Papier d’Arménie was born in Paris in 1885 as a result of the experiments of a chemist and a scientist. The idea came from a travel to Armenia, country where the benzoin resin, derived from the bark of trees – the major ingredient of the booklet – was used to purify the air. This special light rose scent was created in 2009 by perfumer Francis Kurkdjian for Papier d’Arménie.

ABOUT PAPIER D’ARMENIE

Papier d’Armenie was invented to give Europeans an opportunity to discover the benefits of benzoin. While there was no ready-made solution, experimentation and method brought about success. Always seeking improvements and enhancements, the Papier d’Armenie firm continues to innovate. Recent years have consequently seen the emergence of new fragrances and a range of candles, the burner range has been extended, and the cut and presentation of the strips redesigned.
